Abstract
Natural estrogens Premarin (conjugated equine estrogens), Harmogen (piperazine estrone sulfate) and progynova (estradiol valerate) alone and in combination with progestational agents such as Primolut N (norethisterone), Neogest (norgestrel), Norgeston (levonorgestrel) and Duphaston (dydrogesterone) did not have adverse effects on clotting factors. One patient developed deep vein thrombosis following treatment using Progynova (alone and a 2nd patient suffered from mild myocardial infarction following the use of Premarin alone. Keywords
