Abstract
A one‐dimensional model is given for the structure of the inter‐domain wall in thin ferromagnetic films. The self‐consistency parameter for this wall model has a peak value of 3.6, and this peak is considerably narrower than in previous Néel wall models. The model can also be applied to double films, for which it yields a somewhat improved self‐consistency parameter and a slightly lower energy than in previous calculations. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
