Abstract
In cage tests with boll weevils and leafworms, both sunshine and dew reduced the toxicity of all materials used, but in general, had less effect on toxaphene and toxaphene-DDT sprays than on toxaphene dust or benzene hexachloride spray or dust. In laboratory tests toxaphene and toxaphene-DDT spray were more effective than toxaphene dust.
