Abstract
This paper outlines a multidisciplinary, community based workshop on loss and grief for final year undergraduate medical and health care students. It describes how students work together to gain an understanding of the experiences of various types of loss and develop an awareness of different professional roles which can be exercised in caring for the griever and how they can be accessed and co-ordinated.Keywords
