Abstract
2 strains of Staph. albus and 4 of Staph. aureus were dissociated and the cultural characteristics of their dissociants was studied. All aureus strains dissociated to some degree; only 1 albus strain showed any change. 1 aureus strain gave rise to 7 variants with cultural characteristics pointing to it as the parent strain of the established Staphylococcus strains of Bergey. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
