Abstract
Excretion of intravenously injected menthol emulsion as menthol glucuronide is increased by addition of glucose (100 mg/kg). Na-lactate or Na-pyruvate effected a slight but insignificant elevation. Fructose and glycerol were significantly effective. An oral dose of 1.5 g glucuronic acid lactone showed an inhibiting effect on glucuronic acid complex formation.
