Curve Tracer That Frees Diode Characteristics of Internal Resistance

Abstract

This curve tracer measures the I‐V characteristic of semiconductor diodes and, assuming an ideal rectifier, compensates for the internal resistance of the diode. The compensating resistance determines the internal resistance. Deviations from the ideal characteristic indicate that phenomena other than injection occur.
