Abstract
Hygrine has been shown to be derived from ornithine and acetate in accordance with accepted biogenetic theory. Hygrine has been shown to be the immediate precursor of cuscohygrine in Scopolia lurida and also of hyoscyamine in Datura stramonium.Keywords
