LISP-A CAD System Programming Language

Abstract
It is suggested that the LISP programming language has many advantages and few disadvantages for use in developing complex engineering application programs. This paper attempts to explore that possibility by briefly explaining a few of the concepts of the language, by reviewing some of the criticisms of it and by mentioning some new developments. In summary it is suggested that LISP may currently be the best programming language to use for the development of computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
