Abstract
Solutions of the zero-temperature Thomas-Fermi equation for an atomic system have been obtained by numerical integration with the aid of the IBM 701 Defense Calculator. The complete range of atomic volumes of physical interest has been covered in sufficient detail to permit accurate interpolation to intermediate regions. Tables of the potential distributions are given as well as of the important physical properties. Keywords
