Abstract
Forty‐five cases of drug‐induced haemolytic anaemia have been reported to the Swedish Adverse Drug Reaction Committee during the 5‐year period 1966–70. Methyldopa was responsible in 21 cases (47%) and caused the only two deaths. Sulfonamide preparations for long‐term use induced haemolysis in 10 patients. Keywords
