Abstract
Summary: Anaesthetists lacking special paediatric experience were asked to calculate the dose of some anaesthetic drugs for children of various weights and ages. Using their own routine method of calculation the doses varied considerably. A nomogram resulted in quicker and more accurate predictions.Keywords
