Abstract
An approximate expression for the time-dependent longitudinal correlation function is given. It gives exact results in the limiting cases where the transverse field, or the exchange interaction, is zero. It is also shown that for arbitrary values of these parameters the approximation is only valid in the high-temperature limit. Some results are presented for the time-dependent and frequency transform of the spatial Fourier transform. Keywords
