Abstract
Results of densitometric analysis of lipoprotein peaks after electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gel and values obtained by the classical method of ultracentrifugation/precipitation correlate well. The correlation coefficients for high-density, low-density, and very-low-density lipoproteins are 0.85, 0.99, and 0.99, respectively. Thus the densitometric method for lipoprotein analysis appears to be suitable for routine clinical application. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
