Abstract
The Kass, [DELTA]H, [DELTA]F and [DELTA]S values of the equilibrium reaction between sixteen organophosphorus compounds and methanol, [alpha]-1 naphthol and pentachlorophenol, respectively, have been determined. It has been found that for each system the [DELTA]H, [DELTA]F and [DELTA]S values form linear relationships with the hydrogen bond frequency shift. The effect of solvent interaction on the hydrogen bond association is considered. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
