Abstract
Following an analysis of the main literature data on the allotropical forms of 1-1-1 trichloroethane (methylchloroform) and its various interpretations, this work presents the differential thermal analysis study of the compound in cubes of a few microns in volume under atmospheric pressure as well as high pressure (up to 3000 bar). The experimental data allows the authors to complete the phase diagram as a function of pressure and to analyse the various allotropic forms obtained. Keywords
