Abstract
The dinitrofluorobenzene, the ninhydrin-Schiff, alloxan-Schiff, and chloramine-Schiff methods are useful for the demonstration of certain protein groups in tissues. The coupled tetrazonium and nitrobenzoylation methods present certain difficulties in interpretation. However, the latter may be of value as a collagen or elastic tissue stain.
