Abstract
(A) Harry Potter and the health of the environment - While on-line shopping appears to have less impact on the environment than driving to the mall, the net effect of e-commerce remains unclear. (B) Applied ethics: a third-millennium approach - IEEE members are rightly proud of their Code of Ethics, which is recognized as an exemplar of business and engineering ethics.Despite its merits, however, those involved with engineering sometimes may find it difficult to comply fully with the code in their daily work, because business is governed by diverse and sometimes contradictory rules of conduct.Keywords
