Abstract
He CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines for treating latent tuberculosis have been revised to include the regimen of weekly doses of rifapentine at 900mg with isoniazid 900mg for three months, following a demonstration that it was as effective as the standard 9 month isoniazid regimen previously recommended for latent tuberculosis infection treatment in the US.
