XX Observations on Cerebrospinal Fluid Rhinorrhea and Pneumocephalus

Abstract
A review of cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea and pneumo-cephalus and a clinical description of 14 additional cases has been presented. It is apparent that cases fall into 2 groups, a commoner traumatic group and a rarer nontraumatic group. Newer methods for identification of cerebrospinal fluid from the nose and the localization and treatment of the cranionasal fistula have been described.
