Abstract
An animal reservoir of histoplasmosis was established in a rural county in Virginia where 4 human and 3 canine infections had occurred. Of 1,620 animals, mostly small rodents, examined Histoplasma capsu-latum was isolated from 1 mouse and 10 rats.Keywords
