Abstract

The fundamental magnetic properties of rare earth-transition metal amorphous alloys are reviewed. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of Mössbauer spectroscopy for resolving their magnetic structures and for observing the changes with respect to the corresponding crystalline alloys
