Abstract
When two or more instruments or techniques are used to measure the same items, the measurement precisions may be estimated using a method proposed by Grubbs[1]. The problems of testing various hypotheses about the measurement precisions have been considered extensively by several authors for the case of two instruments, and some attention has been given to testing specific hypotheses involving three instruments. This paper proposes an approach to hypothesis testing when more than two instruments are involved. The proposed tests, based on large sample theory, are simple to apply. Keywords
