Cephalometric Roentgenograms and Computerized Tomographic Scans in Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Abstract
In 1983, we reported the interest of cephalometic analysis in the study of obstructive sleep apneic patients. We mentioned then that when technically adequate, cephalometric roentgenograms yield data on the posterior airway space (PAS) clearly related to that obtained in the performance of computerized tomography (CT) scans. The relatively recent introduction of CT scans with three-dimensional analysis has added a new dimension to airway investigations.
