Abstract
A new polarographic method for determining complex‐stability constants is described. In solutions where the total metal‐ion concentration is equal to the ligand concentration, a relation has been found between the shift of the half‐wave potential and the degree of dissociation. The stability constants of some Cd2+ and Zn2+ complexes, determined by this method, are in agreement with those cited in the literature. Keywords
