Abstract
Summary: A case of sick sinus syndrome which presented as a cardiac arrest following spinal anaesthesia is reported. The diagnosis of sick sinus syndrome, the cardiovascular effects of spinal anaesthesia and the anaesthetic management of patients with the syndrome are discussed.Keywords
