Abstract
Two families with a striking dominant hereditary disorder of pigmentation, poikilochromia alba (albinismus circumscriptus) are reported. The pigmentary changes and the heredity basis of this disorder are described and the pathogenetic difference from vitiligo and albinismus universalis is discussed. As a better name for this disorder, the term poikilochromia alba is proposed.
