Abstract
The Zr96(He3,d)Nb97 reaction was studied with 22-MeV He3 particles. Experimental angular distributions were analyzed by use of distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations to determine l values and spectroscopic factors. The results are compared with previous data on reactions and β decay. The proton configurations of Nb97 are examined in comparison with neighboring niobium nuclei and recent theoretical results.
