Acute Posterior Multifocal Placoid Pigment Epitheliopathy

Abstract
Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy is now perfectly documented on clinical and angiographic findings. Gass has emphasized the good prognosis and the infrequency of recurrence. Some cases have, however, multiple recurrences and loss of sight. It seems of interest to discuss the long-term prognosis of acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy.
