Abstract
Three batches of Bacto-Casitone have been fractionated by the combined use of paper electrophoresis at pH 5.8 and paper chromatography in butanol-acetic acid-water system. Batches A, B and C showed 61, 73 and 73 subfractions respectively. Some of the subfractions have been found to be a mixture of few peptides while others consist of a single peptide by N-terminal amino acid analysis. Keywords
