Abstract
The first complexes of copper(I) and silver(I) with the S3N– ligand have been prepared by the reaction of PPN+S2N– with copper(I) chloride or silver nitrate in acetonitrile; the X-ray crystal structures of PPN+Cu(S3N)2 –, (Ph3P)2Cu(S3N), and PPN+ClCu(S3N)– show that the bidentate S3N– ligand is bonded to the metal through two sulphur atoms in these complexes. Keywords
