Abstract
Description of a 21 year old female patient with skin manifestations due to porphyria, which must be brought into correlation with oral anticonceptives. The intake of alcohol seems to be an additional factor. This observation corresponds essentially to a case reported by Degos et al. The biochemical pattern is that of porphyria variegata.
