Abstract
We list the conspiracy relations for reactions of type and , emphasizing that there are relations connecting states with opposite parity at even when all four masses are unequal. We show in detail that if the relations are satisfied by vanishing of the couplings of individual trajectories at , all helicity-flip amplitudes are suppressed at forward angles; whereas if the relations are satisfied by conspiracy among various trajectories, the flip-flip amplitudes which conserve angular momentum in forward scattering can contribute with full strength.
