Employer Perspectives on Employer-Rehabilitation Partnerships

Abstract
Programmatic initiatives have been undertaken to develop partnerships between employers and rehabilitation organizations. Potential areas for collaboration involve recruitment and selection, accommodation and accessibility, incentives, and the return to work of employees with mid-career disability onset. This article presents the results of a study of employers regarding their concerns about workers with disabilities and their interest in partnerships with rehabilitation agencies.
