Abstract
• Schönlein-Henoch purpura is an IgA-mediated immune complex vasculitis of unknown cause which is characterized by nonthrombocytopenic purpura, arthralgias, abdominal pain, angioedema, and glomerulonephritis. It most commonly occurs in children and usually follows a benign course. Associated malignancies are rarely reported. A number of treatment regimens have been used, including corticosteroids and immunosuppressive agents. This is a case report of lymphoma in an adult with Schönlein-Henoch purpura in the absence of renal involvement. (Arch Intern Med 1987;147:2026-2027)
