Abstract

Absolute cross sections for the ⁶Li + ⁶Li ⇒ 3⁴He reaction have been measured for center-of-mass energies from 0.5 to 2.75 MeV. Thermonuclear reaction rate and reactivity parameters have been calculated for kT values from 10 to 1000 keV. At the higher energies, the reactivity parameters are comparable to those of other potential fusion reactions.
