Pressure-induced molecular ordering in-intercalated graphite

Abstract
A new pressure-induced molecular ordering transition is reported in single-crystal samples of stage-2 -intercalated graphite. The transition occurs abruptly at 3 kbar and may be the origin of unexplained electronic anomalies previously discovered in this pressure range.
