Abstract
A method has been developed for high speed measurement of ultrasonic velocity changes. The measurement of velocity change is obtained by phase comparison between an echo pulse and a reference carrier signal within a several echo oscillation for change faster than a few microseconds, and by the time-to-amplitude conversion method for change slower than the repetition rate of rf pulse. Keywords
