Abstract
This paper describes a simple and fast design method for using multiplexers in the synthesis of logic functions. The method relies on the use of map-entered variables, whereby only a single Karnaugh map needs to be drawn for each function. The method is shown to be particularly useful for the implementation of control algorithms, especially those having a large number of input variables.Keywords
