Abstract
Forty cases of biopsy proved glomus jugulare tumor (5 cases in a personal series, 35 from the literature) were reviewed and divided into two groups on the basis of the clinical features. It appears that irradiation is the preferred form of therapy, either alone or in combination with surgery. Sixty per cent of patients were apparently cured when last seen. Forty-five per cent required multiple courses of irradiation, repeated surgery, or a combination of both.
