Abstract
Hansonoperla appalachia is described and illustrated from the adult male, adult female, and egg. The major diagnostic features of this new taxon include the lateral margins of the pronotum, crossveins of the forewing, hammer, aedeagus, female subgenital plate, vagina, egg collar, and egg anchor-plate. The systematic affinities of all the known genera of Nearctic Acroneuriini are analyzed phenetically. The results indicate that Hansonoperla is phonetically isolated from the other genera of this tribe. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
