Abstract
Administration of phosphotungstic acid, phosphomolybdic acid, silicotungstic acid, molyb-dic acid, and chemically related substances, in doses of 0.3 gm. by mouth to rabbits, produced marked hypo-glycemia. A similar effect was observed on administration of 0.9 gm. phosphotungstic acid to diabetic patients (4 cases). A diuretic effect was noted with certain of the reagents. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
