Abstract
We present an improved method for the calculation of positronium-formation cross section from one-electron atomic targets of arbitrary charge . The calculation is complete through second order in the collisional potentials. We use this technique to calculate the positronium-formation cross sections for 1s-1s electron capture from atomic hydrogen.
