Abstract
There is little if any difference in the contents of total P in identical tissues of normal and leukemic mice. However, when labelled or radioactive P uptake and exchange are compared, leukemic tissues vary from normal. The total P content of a tissue does not determine the uptake of a single dose of P. Since leukemic tissue (bone marrow, liver, spleen, lymph nodes) tends to contain relatively more radio-P after a single dose, radioactive P should prove to be valuable in the treatment of leukemia. Keywords
