Abstract
A patient with systemic histiocytosis was treated with hemibody irradiation, vincristine, and prednisone. The patient died of an extensive peripheral neuropathy. An autopsy revealed gross histiocytosis-X involvement of the unirradiated tissues, and no evidence of disease within the field of irradiation. A treatment protocol employing sequential hemibody irradiation is discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
