Abstract
2-Acetyl-7-oxo-l,2,3,4,4a,4b,5,6,7,9,10,10a-dodeca-hydrophenanthrene is androgenic in the castrated-adrenalectomized rat and therefore appears to act directly rather than by stimulation of the adrenal.
