Abstract
The aerodynamic characteristics of a thin cambered aerofoil are determined, when the aerofoil is set at incidence in a shear flow of incompressible inviscid fluid. First order effects are deduced assuming that the deviation from uniform flow is small, the velocity profile being parabolic in form. Keywords
