Abstract
The term "intramolecular respiration" is preferable to "anaerobic respiration" because the latter term implies, a type of metabolism that would occur only in the absence of molecular O2, and because it leads to confusion when metabolism is measured only by CO2 liberated if the rate of CO2 production is the same under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
