Abstract
Studies with the agent of mouse catarrh were undertaken to obtain additional information about immunity mechanism in respiratory diseases due to filterable viruses or agents resembling filterable viruses. Intraperitoneal or subcut. inoculation of mice with the agent of mouse catarrh seems to give an increased resistance to subsequent intranasal inoculation. Mouse catarrh is readily cultivated in tissue culture of chick embryo in Tyrode''s soln. or chick embryo on horse serum-Tyrode-agar slants. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
