Abstract
A technique for obtaining pressure-concentration isotherms of the palladium hydrogen system is described. A quartz crystal thickness monitor is used to directly determine the quantity of hydrogen absorbed by an evaporated palladium film. The measured phase diagrams agree with previous measurements on bulk samples. The method can be applied to any metal film-gas system. Keywords
